Malar bags are the swollen or puffy areas under the lower eyelid and over the cheekbone. Unlike tear trough hollowing, they are not caused by volume loss and are difficult to treat. PROCEDURE
After an in-depth consultation, treatment may involve a combination of topical prescriptions, steroid injections (if due to inflammation), laser or radiofrequency tightening, or referral if surgery is needed. Treatment is case-by-case.
