    To treat wrinkles we use a product called botulinum toxin, botulinum toxin is a protein that is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles in areas such as the forehead and around the eyes, it’s use can also prevent new wrinkles from forming . Botulinum toxin injections work by blocking the nerve signals to certain muscles, this in turn causes the muscles then become more relaxed, thus reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the skin

    Anti wrinkle injections will last around 12-16 weeks / 3-4 months , with continued use research shows that this can become longer up to 6 months.

    Anti wrinkle injections contain botulinum toxin type, a naturally occurring protein that is completely harmless in its purified form. It is known as one of the safest non surgical aesthetics treatments. Today toxin is used for over 800 medical conditions as well as cosmetic use. In clinic we use the toxin for migraines, sweating and teeth grinding as well as cosmetically.

    Approximately a few minutes is all the time required for anti wrinkle injections. It usually takes anywhere from 2 to 14 days for effects to become apparent.
