What is Mole Screening?
The service provides you with an asesment of moles and pigmented lesions.
We will take images of your skin lesion using specialist, medical grade camera called a ‘Dermascope’. It uses light and magnification to help dermatologist see how your skin look in more details than you would be able to see with a naked eye.
The detailed images will make it easier to spot abnormalities that may require further investigation or diagnostic tests.
When Will I Get The Results?
Screening images are reviewed within 48 hours after submission for review. We will contact you to discuss the report with you.
Will We Be Able to Diagnose Skin Cancer?
No, The service doesnt provide a diagnosis of skin cancer and a formal diagnosis requires a biopsy and historical assessment.
However the report can help us identify a suspicious mole that might need further investigation.
